  1. Hi Gil,

Next time maybe you can let one of us know if you will not be in class so that we can take notes for you. We all printed out our work and they gave critiques to those who had their work on the wall. Overall, they said they wanted to see a clear character lineup with all of characters, and make sure we are at the painting stage.

For this Saturday, they want to see two things: a painted moment in your game (almost like a still frame)
and some exploration of how the gameplay would work. That can be almost anything, as long as you are communicating your idea well.

    I hope that is helpful!

  2. Also, another thing they wanted was more textures in character paintings overall. They stressed the fact that they didn't want use using straight out of photoshop brushes. So, in addition to what Kristy said, they also want to see the character line ups again and in full color. Don't be afraid to overlap characters to show relations and scale.

They really want a moment, the one frame, as a frame that is going to sell your game. That one shot that just makes the people backing your game excited. They also gave a rough estimate of how much work they wanted, which is "roughly" about 12 pages of spreads and stuff.

If I'm missing anything guys, let me know. (I'm more story than vis dev... and we're doing something slightly different)
