Hey Megan! Your work is looking great! I love your lineup. I think your lineup would benefit from being on a darker background so that the light from the sun and the fire would be more illuminated. Right now, I think they are all reading as the same material. If you add a darker BG, it will make the fire and sun feel brighter and more glowy. Maybe you can add a bit of softer smoke above the fire too. Also maybe you can add some bright white highlights to the water so he reads as more shiny. I hope that helps!
I love your style!! I agree with everything Kristy said, and would add that you might consider placing shadows under your characters to make em more grounded. Does the raven character have any abilities as far as game play? or is he supposed to avoid the lightning? if so maybe you could showcase how that works. or have him getting struck by lightning to clarify what is happening. either way, awesome stuff.
